Academic Excellence
The USF Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing is helping shape the future of secure and responsible technology. With high-demand academic programs, innovative research, 3,000 students, and more than 200 faculty members, the college is a major force in preparing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
Hard Skills Development
Through the Security Operations Center Apprentice Program (SOCap), students move beyond observation and into real operational workflows using tools such as CrowdStrike, Splunk, and Microsoft Sentinel. Participants gain supervised, hands-on experience triaging alerts, investigating suspicious activity, and building practical cyber defense skills.
USF also supports competitive cybersecurity talent through CyberHerd, a highly decorated student team trained in offensive and defensive cyber tactics with first-place finishes in major competitions.
Workforce Readiness
The Bellini Center for Talent Development at the USF Muma College of Business helps prepare students for the workplace through structured professional development focused on communication, leadership, teamwork, and professionalism.
This creates stronger alignment between employer expectations and emerging talent entering the market.
